Introduction: What is might? Might can build a house; it can build a skyscraper; it can build a city; it can even build a country. But the might of man cannot create. Scientists can rearrange particles, elements, and molecules, but cannot create matter or life. There is only one Almighty that can create anything.
Definition: Almighty is a contraction of the two words “all” and “mighty”, and it means exactly that.

Genesis 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Genesis 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
3. Elements are dead; they are powder, liquid, and vapor. On their own they do not live and breathe. How did the living creatures of the earth come about? v 26, 27, (9-31).
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

4. Who is there like Him? Isaiah 44:6, Psalm 97:9.

1 Chronicles 29:10 Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Note: Predictions are not prophecies. A prediction is a guess based on previous information and knowledge. A prophecy is the foreknowledge
of the future. Only the Bible contains accurate prophecies, and many of them. Some may attempt to prophesy, but whose prophecies are fulfilled? God speaks prophecy (the words of the Bible) and his prophecies come to pass.
9. What is might that fades through the years? Woe to the mighty man who dies at one hundred years old; his might will vanish. What is true might? Psalm 90:2.
Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
10. What do you call a being that lives eternally, has lived eternally, has all power, and has all knowledge? Matthew 5:48.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Conclusion: God has power over kingdoms, power over the elements, and power to create the elements and life. He is the Almighty.
